I had to laugh at a co-worker about that the other day. When asked why I burst out laughing, I simply answered... "Think about it this way. The Mayan's died out as a civilization, how long ago?? How do we know that the calander didn't 'END' simply because they died?"
Personally, I think the aliens will just come and make themselves known to us, with their pet Dragons, using the pyramids as landing sites (Stargate style) on that date. Lol
